Add a document to Yapify and it splits it into chapters and reads it to you word for word, highlighting each word as it's read. Pick a chapter and press play. Yapify remembers where you stopped, and Continue Listening takes you back to the same spot.

PDFs with selectable text, Word documents, TXT files and pasted text, in English. Scanned PDFs and photos of printed pages aren't supported yet.

If a PDF opens but reads nothing, it's probably a scan (a picture of text). Try exporting the original document as a PDF again, or paste the text in.

Check the volume and which speaker or headphones your iPhone is playing through. Then close Yapify fully and open it again, and make sure you're on the latest version from the App Store.

Yapify keeps playing with the screen locked and while you use other apps. If it stops, tell us what you were doing at the time so we can look into it.

Unusual layouts (tables, footnotes, text in columns) can make the highlight drift. Email us the name of the document and the chapter, and we'll check it.

Anything you buy in Yapify is paid through your Apple ID, so Apple handles payment, renewals and refunds.

To cancel or change a subscription: open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Yapify. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.

To ask for a refund: go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID and choose the purchase. We can't issue refunds ourselves, but we're happy to help if something went wrong.
